FloodSax weighs only 0.2kg and takes up very little space, and after contact with water it expands and weighs already 22kg. Filled FloodSax keeps its shape for 3 months. Barriers up to 1m high can be formed. Also suitable for absorbing all non-viscous liquids. Biodegradable.

FloodSax offers a quick solution to floods, leaks and spills as a highly effective replacement for conventional sandbags to protect homes and businesses from flooding and water spills. This innovative self-inflating water protection system can be stored in a box and can be installed in minutes to protect businesses or homes from flood water.

Also known as sandless bags, they are ready to use, just remove from the packaging. Soaking in any water for 3 minutes activates FloodSax, increasing their size and weight from 150g to 25kg.

They can stay in place for up to 3 months and can be easily disposed of as they are 100% biodegradable.

Activation: For outdoor use, submerge each bag in water until fully expanded, which may take up to 7 minutes. Since they absorb water, they can hold up to 20 liters, the weight increases to 20-25 kg.
Creating a barrier: Activated FloodSax can be placed in tightly packed layers to create an effective barrier against water. Make sure each row matches the joints of the one below, similar to laying bricks, to ensure a solid wall. Dry FloodSax can be placed indoors to absorb any water that enters.
